Rowing Training

Rowing training has started at Ringsend (every Tuesday night at 7.30pm unless otherwise indicated) and, in addition to Sea Scout events, we plan to enter crews in a number of club regattas this year starting with the Stella Maris Regatta in Ringsend on Sunday, 24 May. So far 26 scouts have registered for crews and competition for places will be keen.

This year, in addition to training in the skiffs, we will also be using our Cork boat which is a faster boat and will require our crews to use locked oars and adapt to 'feathering' oars.

All in all, an interesting rowing season is in prospect.
