Easter Camp 2009

By now, Easter Camp in Powerscourt is a well established Troop tradition. 39 Scouts took part this year's Camp and for 11 of them it was their first time under canvas. in spite of a very cold Friday night, the weather over the weekend was very good, with the rain having the good grace to hold off until we were literally driving out of Powerscourt for another year.

Congratulations to all the Watch Leaders and Assistant Watch Leaders who ensured their scouts had a thoroughly enjoyable camping experience.

The standard of camping was very good and Port Watch were judged to be the overall winners of the Easter Camp Trophy.
