Our friend, Dick Vekins, passed away 10 years ago and each year we remember him in a way we think he would have liked - walking in the Wicklow hills. This year was no exception with 75 scouts, former scouts, parents and friends taking part in the walk. The route was from Ballinastoe to Lough Tay and back and, in spite of indifferent weather, an enjoyable day all round.
