Snowdon via the Llanberis Path

We finally made our first foray abroad with a very enjoyable trip to Snowdonia in north Wales.

Starting out from Llanberis Youth Hostel, we followed the Llanberis Path  to the summit.  The weather proved challenging with very strong winds and rain later in the day and everyone experienced a real sense of achievement in reaching the summit.

 Many thanks to Janet and her staff in Llanberis Youth Hostel who looked after us so well and to Steve, our bus driver who introduced us to the village of
Llanfair­pwllgwyn­gyllgo­gery­chwyrn­drobwll­llanty­silio­gogo­goch  (or Llanfair PG for short).

Already thinking about doing it all again next year.
