We originally intended to organise this walk for the DV Hike last January but due to the prolonged snow and ice at the time the road to the Sally Gap was impassable.
So at the second time of asking we set off from the Sally Gap on a gloriously sunny day in March. Packed snow on Carrigvore made for a very rapid descent towards the Coronation Plantation resulting in several shredded bivvy bags.
