World Scout Jamboree 2007

 This year marks the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Scout movement. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, the 2007 World Scout Jamboree was held in the UK with some 40,000 scouts from all around the world attending.

16 scouts from the Valkyrie Troop attended this once in a lifetime event.

We had originally planned a boat trip across the Bay to Bellingham but because of adverse weather we opted to row up into the Liffey instead. An enjoyable day out and an opportunity to see the city from an unusual and interesting viewpoint.
