Sunglasses, sunblock and lots of water were the order of the day for this enjoyable walk from Glendalough, around Derrybawn and Mullacor and down into Glenmalure.

Easter Camp
With impressive disregard for forecasts of dire weather, 57 Valkyries headed off for our now traditional Easter Camp in Powerscourt. It was a first Easter Camp for many of our younger scouts and it was also a first time in charge for our new Watch Leaders. While it was very cold, the sun did shine and thankfully the threatened sub zero temperatures, rain and gales did not materialise. After 3 nights under canvas, all returned home, somewhat muddied, somewhat hoarse but having enjoyed a very good weekend.
